This easy to Crochet Pet Bed pattern is available in 4 different sizes. Everything from little Toy Size Dogs and small cats to big cats and large dogs!
The size shown here with Penny, the loveable dog, is medium. She is a smaller dog. Based on measurements of this pet size bed. I have determined approximate species sizes.
For the record, my cat Riverstone, a 10 lb kitty would need a medium size.

Hi
Lovely pattern. Could you comment about washing and how you manage this part bed when it gets stinky?
I would also appreciate information about the exact yarn used. Im from Australia so I will need to locate an alternate product so as much information as possible will be useful.

You would wash this like a pillow. If you prefer to have an opening, you could do that and use buttons to close it, as long as the pet won't chew the buttons. I'm from Canada. I'm unfamiliar with what yarns you have access to in Australia. I'm sorry, I don't have any suggestions. However, here is the technical data on it. Durable chunky yarn

There is a blue button that says pattern. It's halfway down in the article. Does that help?

Hey Wanda Griffis,
I am sorry to bother you but I needed some advice and info plz about his pet bed. Reading the instructions, it says 4 balls of yarn for a medium-size bed but I am unsure if its 400g per ball or is it 100g per ball, i.e do I purchase 4 balls of yarn with the weight of 400g per ball (in tote will be 1600g) or is it vice versa I purchase 4 balls of yarn with the weight of 100g per ball (in tote will be 400g)?
Please could you give ma some advice and guide ma?
I await your reply.
Kind regards,
Ranj.

each ball is 400g, for a medium bed you need approximately 4 balls each one being 400g
